Day 6 - After a lovely breakfast at the hotel we packed our gear and headed to the Insurance Broker to buy our Insurance for Laos. Insurance is a necessity in the event that you are involved in a traffic incident with a Local as this will ensure the other party is compensated without it coming out of your own pocket. Unfortunately for us Insurance Agents aren't open on the weekend so we will have to ensure we don't hit anything until monday.... or at all. After our futile attempts to secure insurance we decided to carefully continue to Luang Namtha stopping at a few towns on the way for a drink or food break. After about 2hrs we arrived at Luang Namtha at the Zuela Guesthouse for our overnight stay. We ran into a lovely couple from Melbourne in Huay Xai at dinner last night and ended up running into them again at the Zuela Guesthouse in Luang Namtha so we decided it was fate and all headed to the Luang Namtha night market for dinner. After some tasty treats we returned to the guesthouse for a reasonably early night before our crazy ride to Phongsali tomorrow morning.
