Apologies for the delay in these posts, we were unfortunately without Mobile Internet for a number of days in central southern Laos but here we go again :)
Today we had an early start and David landed in Udon Thani and came to meet up with us at the hotel. After some chilling out we loaded the bikes and headed for the border.
Thankfully the border was no real issue and we were across with relatively little fuss. Arriving in Vientiane was an experience as always with crazy drivers and even more crazy motorcyclists :)
We arrived at our hotel for the evening where our books for the book party were to be delivered by http://www.momobooks.org/
After the books arrived we packed them into our Motorbike luggage in preparation for our ride the next day to Ban Namsanam and the Sainamhai Resort where the owner Mr Vongs was to take us to the Ban Namsanam school to present the books.
The blog will be up to date with plenty of lovely pictures by midday tomorrow, thanks again everyone for tuning in. Our thoughts and prayers are with the thousands of Filipinos who have been displaced or worse.
