Chilling in Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang is such a beautiful town, a great place to relax and enjoy the rural life of Laos.

Not much to report since arriving we have just been relaxing around the hotel, cruising around town and perusing the night markets drinking plenty of coffee for David and Coke Zero for Chris.

We did get to catch up with our good friends Paul and Joy at Joy's restaurant just off the main strip. It was so good to see them again and we chatted for hours whilst enjoying joys fantastic cooking.

Tonight we're catching up without good friend little Chris from previous adventures for pizza and beer at the secret pizza which we have been told is the best pizza in Laos, really looking forward to that and to seeing Chris again.

On Friday we ride to Phonsavan which is the the most heavily bombed place on earth, with millions of UXO (unexploded ordinance) from the Vietnam war so many years ago, the work organisations such as UXO Laos and MAG (Mines Advisory Group) do in these areas is so vital.

Signing off now, just relaxing and probably heading into town for a massage shortly.

Thanks for following, we look forward to sharing the book party with you next week, so excited to see Vongsamay an his beautiful family again at the Sainamhai resort.

Hope you have enjoyed following our adventure thus far, today and tomorrow we will be completing our next ride video featuring this journey from Vientiane to Luang Prabang via vangvieng and route 4.
